Pre-Easter Celebration

My sister was in town from Abilene this weekend with my two nephews.  They came into town for my oldest nephew's track meet that was being held here in Lubbock.  We weren't going to be able to all be together for Easter so we decided to "celebrate" a little early.  Instead of a egg hunt we did a piñata party thanks to my sister Tonya.  We lined all of the kids up from youngest to oldest and they each got a chance at the piñata.

Even Elizabeth got in on the action

The chick piñata was the first one the kids picked.  They all got a turn to hit it and then we started back over with Kallaway since he was the smallest.  He ended up finishing off the chick and successfully broke it(thanks to the help of all of the others before him).  When we were beginning the second piñata we went ahead and lined them up youngest to oldest again.  We thought we were being fair so the older kids wouldn't break it before the little ones got a chance.  Well, our well thought out plan backfired.  Kallaway was first to hit the egg piñata and he broke it too!  He thought it was oh, so cool....the other kids....not so much!  OOPS!

Good job, Little Bubba!
